About Natalie

Currently seeking part-time Summer 2024 employment and/or part-time babysitting. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland where I earned a bachelor's degree in family science and a master's in special education. I am currently a full-time special education teacher and have been teaching for 13+ in MCPS. I also work part-time providing respite to Navy families with children with severe disabilities. I have experience working with a wide array of children with disabilities including: Autism, Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, Charge Syndrome, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Speech-Language Impairments, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Intellectual Disability, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and ADHD. My world revolves around teaching and learning from children of all ability levels. When working with children, my main goal to keep them safe and engaged. I enjoy reading to children, playing outside, taking walks around the neighborhood, dancing to music, imaginary play, arts & crafts
