I've just retired after 30 years of teaching preschool-second grade. I was also the Principal of a Montessori/Reggio preschool my last two years. I want to continue working with children and families because it gives me incredible joy! I moved to Maine last summer from North Carolina, although I spent all of my summers here on Lake Cobbossee in Manchester. I graduated from UMaine with two degrees and have a Masters in Early Childhood Education. I believe Let children be little Let children play, explore and get messy Reading with children is ESSENTIAL to growing a literate, well rounded child beginning at birth until college! I have raised three adult children who are now somewhat normal - insert smile emoji here! So, I can definitely multitask!
