About Nylah

I grew up as the oldest sibling and regularly babysat my younger siblings as well as their friends through middle and high school. I also maintain a really strong relationship with my youngest brother who is 11 and often stays with me over spring and summer vacation. In high school I had a job as a teaching assistant for a toddler art class and even put together some of my own lesson plans for the class, I learned a lot about how to keep children entertained while also educating them and boosting their creative confidence. As an adult I have completed a program for film production, worked in film, marketing, and at a coffee roasting company. I've enjoyed jobs where I get to learn, teach others, and get a sense of community. I love the outdoors, making art, writing, learning, and spending time with animals. I've always had pets and am very comfortable taking care of them and working on training them.
