About Odalys

Hello, I have about four years of experience in working and caring for children. I started working with kids when I was 15. It started with kids from within my family, then I transitioned into caring for children in other families. My experiences with children are from ages infant - 13+ yrs. I work with kids because I would like to have a positive impact on their lives, build relationships with them, and have the opportunity to learn and grow with them as well as teach them important life lessons. I also love knowing that I can become another important person that helps shape their life and help them through everything in life. I'm looking for a job that's a safe space not only for me but also for the child that I'm caring for, to freely express ourselves and voice our thoughts and feelings without feeling alone or unheard. My skills in child care includes, communication and listening skills, in addition to compassion and empathy, as well as organizational skills etc..
