About Olivia

Hi there, I'm a certified teacher with a Master's in Elementary Education and a desire to help kids in my community. I have been trained by Reading Assist, a program accredited by the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC), to teach reading in a 1:1 setting. Growing up, I was a struggling reader so I understand how important reading is and what my students go through. Because I want my students to succeed, I tend to go above and beyond for them. I create targeted Orton-Gillingham-based lessons that meet the learning needs of each student. And, I support students/families by providing feedback, quarterly progress reports, resources for parents, and monthly access to a digital library.
