Practicing reading and math during the summer can be a daunting task for both children and their parents. Hiring a tutor provides your child with fun, structured time each week where they can practice academic skills, and you can just have FUN with your child during your free time! I hold a dual-masters degree in Elementary and Special Education, as well as a graduate certificate in English as a Second Language. I have been teaching third grade for 9 years, and have experience working with students with disabilities, as well as English language learners. I am Orton Gillingham certified, and have extensive experience with other phonics interventions programs. I love to make learning fun for my students, and engage them through hands on activities.
