About Patrick

I'm a energetic, flexible and passionate teacher looking for work outside school. My favorite part of working with children is teaching and building relationships. I work as a 2nd grade teacher at CICS Irving Park, I've worked there for six years and have experience working with grades k-8. I primarily teach 2nd grade. I have experience tutoring elementary students outside of school. I've worked several summer camps over the years since I was in high school including YMCA summer camps and district Summer camps. These camps gave me an opportunity to work with children from ages 6-14. My first experience working with children was as an YMCA sports class instructor for children classes when I was in HS. It came more natural to me than any other job before, and is a big reason in my career path today. More about me: I'm a big reader and runner, during the summer if I'm not working I'm spending time with my wife, running or reading!
