I especially enjoy working with those in the 0-5 range, supporting them during the most crucial stages of development and learning. Witnessing little ones discover the world around them is incredibly special. I have a background in social work (MSW); I've worked for mission based non-profits in the Portland area, most recently working with families of children who have special healthcare and behavioral needs. Compassion and empathy are part of who I am, and I bring a calm, grounded presence to all that I do. I'm incredibly reliable and committed to good communication- returning calls, emails and texts in a timely fashion. I'm always ready to roll up my sleeves and help out with additional tasks around the home (light cleaning, meal prep, laundry, etc).

Patty is an absolute gift and hard to sum up in a short recommendation. In terms of the typical factors like dependability, communication, and child interaction, she is the gold standard. But beyond that she is an incredibly wise, joyful, and caring person who breathes life and authenticity into any space she is in. Our kids light up whenever she comes over and so do we. She truly feels like part of our family and we're so grateful to watch our kids thrive and grow under her care.
