About Peyton

Hi, my name is Peyton, I'm 25 years old, and every job I've ever had has been working with children. I started out as a summer nanny the summer before I started college and have done nannying in some form since then with a range of all ages (3 months- 12 years). I have a specialty of working with infants and toddlers and have even worked as the lead teacher in a Montessori classroom with that age group. I have also worked at a traditional preschool as a substitute teacher, worked at summer day camp, and done all kinds of sitting/nannying (full time, summer, date nights, overnights, etc.). I actually got my degree in 2020 in Middle Grades Education and taught 8th grade ELA. Unfortunately, beginning a teaching career during a pandemic is not very fun. Now, I am really enjoying being a nanny! If it's not clear by now, I love working with kids and with families who appreciate my childcare philosophy, which is helping children become as independent and communicative as possible.
