About Phoebe

Hello! I am a certified elementary teacher with experience teaching 4th, 5th, and middle school grades. I am looking forward to switching things up by working for a family that allows me to use my teaching background but in a more personal, and fun way! I have an extensive background of working with children with chronic, and life-threatening diseases as well as with adolescents with severe social and emotional needs, including anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, suicidal ideation and more. In my personal life, I am an aunt of two, giving me years of experience with infants as well. I love creating learning experiences through real life moments, but I also love to just have fun with kids and be a mentor in their lives! I am a perfect mix of goofy, yet relaxed. Gentle, yet authoritative. Young, but experienced. Seasoned, yet willing to learn. Positive, yet realistic. Chill, yet adventurous, and I feel these aspects of my personality will make me a perfect match for ANY family.
