I have a very special place in my heart for the elderly. My parents are in in their 80's and I have helped to mange their care since my fathers stroke 7 years ago. I help to oversee their caregivers, transportation, groceries, doctor appointments and medications. I have a bachelors degree in social work and a masters in counseling. I have over 10 years of experience working with the aging population in a long term care setting with a strong focus on dementia care. I have been a stay at home mom for the past 8 years and would like to find a position where I am able to assist in caring for others during my free time.
