About Pume

I love working with children. I bring enthusiastic energy and I like having fun and bringing joy to people's lives. I have 1 year of experience in autism therapy for two children aged 3 and 11. I am currently a Teacher's Assistant at a special educational school for children ages 11-22. I have worked with clients in wheelchairs who need assistance with ADLs such as using the bathroom and eating with utensils. I periodically work in the residential units at the school I work at. My duties there consist of making food, assisting in ADLs and conducting activities. I can help with errands, taking children to activities, setting up activities, food prep and pets. I'd describe myself as rather laid back but conscientious. When I work I like to maximize fun but I'm also experienced in teaching, encouraging positive behaviors and discouraging maladaptive behaviors. I hope I'm the right fit for you!
