About Rachael

I like working with kids because I enjoy watching them show their creativity in different ways. I'm looking for a job that understands my family commitments and volunteer activities. I am also looking for a job that is willing to communicate with me to ensure that I am maintaining a balance with myself and the expectations in place for me. I started working with kids when I was 16. It started as watching my cousins as a live in babysitter, to watching the children of family friends, and finally as a nanny for a private family. I have not babysat or nannied since 2021 due to pursuing my bachelor degree. In my spare time, I like to read, crochet, listen to music, spend time with family, and enjoy nature. One thing you should know about me is that belong to a youth service organization as an adult volunteer and spend some weekends assisting with their activities. My skills include problem solving, teaching, and communication (with both the children and parents).
