I changed my first diaper at approximately the age of 4 and have not stopped caring for children since then. It first started at home taking care of my 3 younger siblings and then babysitting many of the children in my neighborhood. I also just finished a little over 2 years with a family near my home in Pittsburgh and it hurt my heart to leave them but a relocation to another state made that happen. My working experience also includes teaching children aged 6 months to 14 years how to swim. Therefore, I am certified in CPR, first aid, AED, and life-guarding. My love of children caused me to pursue a degree in early childhood education. Life had other plans for me and I did not complete that degree but the knowledge gained during 3 semesters as an education major stay with me to this day. I truly believed that I was put on this Earth to be a caregiver, nurturer and educator of children.
