About Rachel

I'd describe my personality as calm, compassionate, and creative. I like working with kids because they are fun, kind, and creative! They are excited to learn something new each day, and teach kindness, compassion, and curiosity to those around them. I started working with kids when I began babysitting over 10 years ago. In college, I worked in a child development center as a substitute teacher, and as a nanny. After university, I continued nannying and eventually provided kids with therapy services for speech and language development. I also currently volunteer at church with kids, providing them an engaging, safe, & supportive environment. My skills include communication, patience, creativity, problem-solving, flexibility, behavior management, empathy, child development knowledge, and pediatric & adult CPR, first aid, and AED.
