About Rachel

Hello! I am a classically-trained vocalist, singer/songwriter, and vocal instructor. I studied music at The University of Maryland, College Park and have toured regionally. I have extensive experience in musical education, having taught children and adults private lessons both independently and with Keys to Success, Soyulla Artists, and Little Chopins. I've developed music curriculum in a classroom setting in Harlem RBI's REAL Kids program and most recently in a nine week online music program, "Music with Rachel!" In private lessons, I work to foster the students' relationship with music while focusing on technique, music fundamentals, and performance etiquette. I love working with young people, encouraging them to strengthen their musical abilities while having fun!
