About Rachel

Hello! I'd be happy to be there for your kids, pets, and home. My experience includes working as a lead teacher for all of last year at a before & after school care program, where a co-lead and I would be in charge of around 26 kids everyday. At this job, I facilitated group activities for kids ranging from ages 5-10, which included lots of creativity-based activities such as building and art projects. I would also take them on field trips, support them in their problem-solving skills and social development, and always keep parents informed. I also worked as a camp counselor throughout high school with school-age kids and am currently working as an after-school counselor at a dojo where kids learn karate. I'm studying to become a teacher too, so I'd love to help with homework when necessary. I really enjoy working with kids and I'm practiced in taking their safety very seriously, alongside having a lot of fun with them! Just tell me what you need and I can get it done.
