About Rachel

My career as an educator led me from the middle school classroom to working with university students to where I am now: the founder of a college consulting business. I have built up my business to the point where it provides me part time work, and I am looking for another part time position to round out my schedule. Whether it is college counseling, tutoring, or child care, I am most fulfilled when providing my services directly to children and parents or caregivers who need them. When working with children and teens, I rely on my sense of humor, active listening skills, patience, and creativity. Though I am relieved to have my classroom days behind me because of the burnout I experienced, I have fond memories of the time spent with my students. There was never a dull day in the classroom, and they made me laugh a lot. I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know your family!
