About Rachel

I am 19 and attend SUNY Albany. I am currently working a full time job Tues-Sat, but might have time available on Sundays or Mondays. I should have much more availability when I go back to school at the end of August if you'd like to plan ahead! I'd describe my personality as honest, reliable, and caring. I like working with kids because they are so curious and creative. They can light up even the worst of days. I started working with kids when I was 10, assisting my mom with in home childcare. I began babysitting on my own when I was 12/13. I also began coaching youth volleyball teams for TeamLVC at 17 years old. One thing you should know about me is that I am extremely responsible. You will never have to worry while you are away! My skills include listening, patience, and creativity. I love to play hide and seek, draw, and play pretend with the little ones. I am great at listening and talking the children through any issues they may encounter!

Rachel babysat our 11-month-old between Christmas and New Years Eve, with very little notice. She was just great! Communication beforehand was seamless. She showed up early the first day and stayed late a few days. She was very sweet and patient with our little one, and he loved her! She also did light housework when he went down for a nap, or on her way out, without being asked. We would definitely hire her again! Thanks, Rachel!
