About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel S, I am 24 years old currently living in Lafayette, CO. I have been a babysitter since I was 13 years old. Over the past 11 years I have babysat children of all ages as well as been a caregiver to elderly patients. I just graduated with two Associates degrees, one in Hospitality Management and one in Culinary Arts. During my two years in college I worked for a Quadriplegic gentleman in his early 70's. I was in charge of preparing dinner, working a folly and straight catheter, a nighttime routine which consisted of a shower and other personal hygiene matters. I would also help the man with gardening or take him to the race track in his handicap accessible van. I did a little bit of everything for him which was fun and taught me alot. I also have experience caring for a hospice patient with advance Lewy Body Dementia. Currently, I work for CU Boulder as a supervisor for their Station. I look forward to getting to know you!
