Hi! My name is Rachel and I am looking for one time babysitting jobs. I was an elementary school teacher for the past 5 years, working with students from ages 4-11. Before I became an elementary school teacher, I worked for 4 years as a preschool teacher with children aged 8 months-5 years. I currently am the Programs Coordinator for WREN, a environmental education nonprofit here in Eugene. Being a teacher has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I believe that kids should have the freedom to explore and learn about the world in ways that are child-centered and child-led. Playing, exploring, being outside, and engaging in the community are key experiences for kids. I am comfortable with babies of any age and I love pets. I speak Spanish conversationally and am fully vaccinated against Covid-19. **Please note, I work full time Monday-Friday (8-5) and am only available for evenings and weekends. Thanks!**
