I'd describe my personality as calm, optimistic & warm. I like working with kids because they are in touch with the things that matter the most in life & remind me to put laughter, play & creativity first. I'm looking for a weekend job that supplements my current office job & allows me to do what I do best; care for children. I started working with kids when I was 13. I was babysitting all ages including infants. I became a mama at 21 & have since had 2 other children; current ages are 15 yrs, 6 yrs & 6 mo. I minored in education & I have been a Girl Scout leader for 11 years. In my spare time, I like spending time with family, gardening, arts & crafts, reading, playing board games & cards, visiting parks, thrift stores & the beach & watching movies. One thing you should know about me is my children are my greatest treasure & so I understand the importance choosing someone you trust to care for your child. My skills include planning, emotional awareness & communication.
