About Rebecca

For over seven years, I have been a leader and guide to children in my care. In 2020, I made the decision to transition from working in a childcare center to private, family-based care as a nanny. It has been a great joy for me to work one-on-one with the child in my care, tailoring my work to their specific needs. Whether through diapering, meal preparation, skill building activities, or child-led exploration, in all areas I strive to encourage my charge's growth and development. Prior to becoming a nanny, I worked for 6 years in early childhood education center settings, including with Launch Learning after-school elementary education program, and Minor Avenue Children's House Montessori center. This experience with childhood developmental milestones and creating emergent curriculum makes me a great fit for an engaged, proactive family with an interest in guiding their child's growth.
