About Rebecca

Hello Parents! My name is Rebecca and I am a recent graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a recent transplant to New York City. I love working with children of all ages, and am particularly passionate about social and emotional learning, self-esteem, college-access, and growth-mindset. I previously worked as a High School Counselor at a wilderness-based, residential, transfer high school school in Colorado. I am both a nanny and an educator and believe that the best type of learning is experiential, where we are exploring the world and learning about it at the same time. I am a certified lifeguard, I love New York City parks and museums, am proficient in American Sign Language, and am very into making art and music. I also worked as a College Admissions Counselor for 2 years at the University of Chicago and am always eager to talk about admissions and how it works.
