Hi there! I have my degree in elementary education. I taught 5th grade science for 2 years before I decided to accept the job as a nanny for a family with 3 kids. I stayed with that family for 5 years and loved every minute of it. The youngest was 5 months old when I started and I just saw him off to kindergarten. During my time with that nanny family my husband and I had our daughter, Sunny (now a 2-year-old) who is aptly named if I do say so myself. I took the summer off to be with her and now I'm back to looking for another precious family to help care for. I have 5 years of experience working with a child with Down syndrome who had extra medical needs. He also required many different therapies that I was responsible for transportation to as well as implementing practice of therapy skills at home. In years past I was a lifeguard and swim instructor and have a solid base of first aid knowledge
