I adore working with kids! I have 4 years of volunteer childcare experience and have done other babysitting jobs including for a summer for a family. I'm getting back into childcare as it is something that brings me a lot of joy! I'd describe my personality as creative, friendly, and accepting. I like working with kids because I love connecting with them and making them feel seen, happy, and loved. I started working with kids when I was 12! I worked with infants then, but I've worked with children of all ages since! In my spare time, I like to draw, read, hike, and listen to music. One thing you should know about me is I am not comfortable with harsh punishments. Consequences are an important part of learning, but I am not comfortable with physically or verbally making children feel scared for the sake of teaching a lesson. My skills include cooking, housekeeping, and communication.
