About Roxanne

Currently I work as a learning specialist in Windsor Terrace, providing intervention services in the public school setting in both Reading and Math with grades 6-8. Prior to this, I have also provided small group instruction in reading and math for 5 years to grades 6-8 in public schools. While providing small group instruction I also acted as the lead Art teacher for all grades. Additionally, I hold my B. A. in Psychology as well as my Masters degree in Dance Education. I love to apply my creativity to Math and Reading instruction to find new windows of understanding through visuals, storytelling, games, and the use of hands-on manipulatives. I feel fulfilled helping students become confident in themselves in their work whether it is Math or Reading!
