About Sage

I have been a caregiver several times for family members and feel confident in my ability to do this job well. My father passed away from brain cancer in 2022, and I was actively involved in his full-time care for several months before his death. I also helped to take care of my grandfather as he struggled with Parkinson's and heart disease for years. I graduated from BYU in 2022 with a degree in Human Development and a minor in Japanese. In college, I took an aging and adult development class that focused on those 65+ years of age. I also took a death and dying class that mainly focused on making the process of passing away meaningful and comfortable for both the dying and those who love them. I am extremely organized, caring, hard working, and patient. I am an avid runner, hiker, reader, writer, and painter. My husband is a medical student at the University of Utah, and we have a lovely 2-year-old daughter.
