About Salma

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic. I like working with kids because they have a positive outlook on life that a lot of us lack. I like working with kids because it gives me a different perspective to put my shoes into and you can always learn something from children. I'm looking for a job that is helpful to the parent or guardian to make their life easier. I started working with kids when I was about 14. I had started as an assistant at a daycare in Everett for children ages 3-5. I then worked with kids when I worked at Kumon as an EL/PI teaching assistant for about a year, tutoring in Math and English. In my spare time, I like to read, watch movies, and draw. I also love photographing scenic views and trying new things. One thing you should know about me is that I am adaptable to change and very accommodating. My skills include academic tutoring, communication and active listening. As well as time management and patience.
