About Samantha

I began working with kids by volunteering at my church's daycare. Throughout my time pursuing higher education, I enjoyed working various babysitting/nannying jobs. After graduating, I spent a couple years working in my field, but I missed being around children. I was still providing babysitting services on the side and found much more joy in that than my office job. I majorly scaled back my hours at work and switched to part-time to provide childcare during the week for a family with two children, now aged 2 and 4. I'm relocating from Medford to Portland and I'm using this opportunity to leave the office and return to childcare. My skills include incorporating education in playtime, gentle guidance, and screen-free activities. My schedule is very flexible, for either full-time or part-time. Thanks for reading my bio!
