About Sarah

I was a kinesiology major at the University of Houston, but recently decided on a career change, so I am back in Dallas (specifically Lake Highlands) and working at a curly and textured hair salon. I love working with kids as I can always learn something new from them. I started out babysitting my cousin who is 12 years younger than me and have also babysat the 2-year-old son of a family friend. I nannied for a 15-month-old girl as well as a 3 and a half and a 9-month-old (at the time) boy. In addition, I have nannied for a 5-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy helping them with online schooling and additional assignments as well as a 2-year-old boy in Houston for over a year. My most recent nannying jobs have been over a year here in Dallas taking care of a baby girl that was 5 months when I started with her and a 4-year-old boy. I also have a love for children with special needs as I have volunteered at two special needs summer camps during high school. I have had CPR training as well.

My family and another family jointly interviewed Sarah by phone for a summer nanny position, and we were all very impressed with Sarah. Sarah checked every box we had, plus some that we didn't have. We even checked her references, who gave glowing reviews. Due to my own scheduling conflict that prevented my wife and I from meeting Sarah in person before the start date, we went with another candidate, who was available to meet with us on very short notice. Although we did not hire Sarah (due to the scheduling conflict), I would not hesitate to hire her in the future.
