About Sarah

While I've primarily worked with children for the past several years, I also have three years' experience working with the elderly in a nursing home setting. My favorite part of my job was interacting with residents and listening to their stories. During part of those three years, I provided 1:1 companion care to a woman who loved nothing more than to walk the gardens and show me her photo albums. I considered myself blessed to have been chosen as her companion. I also have experience providing companion care that included transportation, meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, etc. I could spend hours soaking in the knowledge and experience that this age-range provides! I have experience and training in de-escalation and have a very calm and cheerful demeanor. I'm a quick-thinker with a huge heart who focuses on safety and well-being. I truly enjoy building trusting, long-term relationships with those of all ages and would absolutely love to help care for your loved one.
