Hello! My name is Sarah. I am a very reliable, patient, and creative young professional who has approximately 14 years of experience caring for children, from infants to teenagers, including those with special medical and social/emotional needs. I worked in a Public School system as a Teacher's Assistant and 1 on 1 Behavioral Assistant during college and have babysat privately since I was a middle schooler myself. For the past 20 months, I've been a full time nanny for two kids (7yo & 3yo). Prior, I was a nanny for an infant (3 mo-15mo). I am an artist, a Yogi, and a Cat Mom in my free time. I have a degree in Interior Design but since being furloughed in 2020, I've really enjoyed being able to spend more of my time following my passion for teaching and childcare, helping families and children navigate this busy time. Sarah has been an incredible caretaker, companion, and dear friend of our daughter for the past year. Our daughter adores her, and really thrives thanks to Sarah's attentive, loving, and thoughtful interactive plays and communication through sign language and verbal communication. Sarah is knowledgeable in sign language and taught our daughter several helpful words that helped so much in our daily lives. She truly cares for our child. They have built an amazing relationship. Sarah balances freedom and structure extremely well, and we think it contributed greatly to our daughter's development. Sarah is probably the most trust-worthy caretaker in our family. She is also collaborative, and work with us as a team. The love and trust our daughter has for her really is the only testimony needed to demonstrate Sarah's capability as a successful and trust-worthy caretaker.
