About Sarah

Hello! I am a RN with 12 years of nursing experience. I have worked in the hospital and am currently a manager at nursing home. I am well versed in dementia care, as well as all needs related to activities of daily living. I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, caring, understanding. I like caring for seniors because it's a way to give back. Our elderly population does not deserve to be forgotten. I love working in my current setting, learning about our resident and making a difference in their daily lives. I started caring for seniors in 2012. I have worked on the med/surg and ICU in a smaller rural hospital, and then began my career in the nursing home setting in 2017. One thing you should know about me is I'm very dedicated to my commitments. When I start something I will finish it. My skills include my knowledge of types of dementia and how it changes the needs of a person, my clinical nursing skills, and my ability to listen and learn from an individual.
