I care for my patients with compassion and empathy. I love hearing the stories and helping the people who made my generation possible. I am a CNA with 9 years of paid experience in home care, assisted living, and hospice. Even before becoming a CNA, I loved taking care of seniors. I started when I was just 14 years old taking daily care of my 1st grade teacher who had just had knee replacement surgery. I knew then that I loved this kind of work! Not long after that, I took care of my grandparents daily and assisted an elderly woman with dementia and physical health issues. Now after 12 years as a CNA, I still feel so rewarded to be able to care for my patients and be able to love and serve them. I treat my patients with the same dignity and respect that I would want to be given. I have been vaccinated for Covid so that whoever I take care of is safe.
