About Sarah

I have tutored for writing, math, and chemistry. I tutored in the Writing Center of my high school. I love helping students organize their thoughts and craft an effective essay, while still giving them enough room to let their own voice be heard. Writing is one of my favorite subjects, and I write for The Daily Cal (Berkeley's school paper). I have taken chemistry and math classes at Berkeley. I particularly loved chemistry both during high school and in college, and I believe I could effectively explain tough concepts. I have passed a wide range of AP tests, so I have a good understanding of subjects such as biology, history, English and English literature, and mathematics. I also would love to help a student develop effective study techniques or build upon their work ethic. I am also an experienced runner/Crossfitter, so I would be happy to be hired as an accountability coach and help make a personalized training plan that works for you.
