About Sara

I'm a 27-year-old residing in Brooklyn with extensive childcare experience ranging from working with newborn babies to working with high schoolers in and outside of the classroom. I love to build affirming, safe relationships with the children I work with and engage in play that is joyful! I believe in the importance of childlike curiosity and having safe spaces to explore identity and interests. I love my cat, knitting, laying in my hammock, swimming, and baking any gluten free goodie! I am currently transitioning out of a full time role at a high school to begin a full time graduate program in social work. I am hoping to find a family to work with full or part time over the summer, and transition into part time work when graduate school begins in late August. Available on evenings + weekends until June 14th, when I will become available full time! I have extensive experience working with children who are LGBTQIA+ as well as students who are neurodivergent.
