Hi there, my name is Scott and I am a fun and energetic nanny and a certified NYS public school teacher! I have 5 years of babysitting/nanny experience and 5 years of public school experience. I love working with children, a passion that inspired me to become an educator. My biggest strength as a nanny and educator is my ability to quickly form close connections with children- while having a lot of fun! The summer is a time for fun and I would love to make it as special as possible. I am incredibly flexible to meet the needs and interests of your children, and believe my biggest strength as a nanny comes from my public school teaching experiences and studies. I have many years of experience working with children with special needs and have a strong understanding of childhood psychology. Scott has been our son's private clarinet lesson instructor since 2019. When our family babysitter quit without notice at the beginning of summer 2022, I asked Scott at the last minute if he had the capacity to babysit over the summer. Scott jumped at the opportunity and, quite frankly, saved the day. He is energetic, professional, and our boys (8 & 11 at the time) loved him. Scott was especially helpful at taking the boys to and from their many summer activities, including soccer, baseball and tutoring. Scott still does private lessons with our one son, and we all feel very lucky to have him in our lives as a positive influence for our boys!
