About Serena

A diligent and fun-loving college student with years of experience from Summer Camp Counselor to Daycare Assistant. I'd describe my personality as groovy, assertive, and outgoing. I like working with kids because I enjoy watching them learn and grow as human beings. As a kid, I was very inquisitive my family was always ready to answer a question. That helped me grow into the kind and open-minded person I am today. I enjoy working with kids because I enjoy watching them grow as people through the simple acts of kindness shown to them. I'm looking for a job that provides an inclusive and respectful environment. I started working with kids when I was 10 years old, I would assist my after school provider with the younger kids. It was around that time that I would also begin to babysit my nieces and nephews. In my spare time, I like to read and crochet. One thing you should know about me is I'm a native New Yorker. My skills include cleaning, cooking, and homework help.
