About Shabnam

I have nearly a year of hands-on experience caring for an infant who is now a toddler. Alongside my academic background, having graduated from Columbia University and currently pursuing a master's in project management, I've been actively volunteering with the American Red Cross. Additionally, I mentor 5th graders at a NYC charter school through the nonprofit organization, Read Ahead. I am trained in first aid and fire safety, and I'm fully prepared to take on all responsibilities required for child care. I understand that every child is unique and am committed to providing the time, attention, and support needed for their development. My empathetic nature allows me to offer emotional support and guidance when necessary, and my strong communication skills help me adapt my approach to meet each child's specific needs. I respect different backgrounds and cultures, and I aim to create a positive, nurturing environment. I am responsible, compassionate, and eager to be a trusted caregiver.
