About Shakiah

Though I am young , I have 16 years of experience with children. This includes multiples, infants, children with special needs, and even preteens and Teens. When watching 4 or more children, instead of having them glued to a TV, I normally present to them different games that I have picked up over the years. But when it is one on one care with toddlers and up, I typically encourage any age appropriate game that peeks the imagination and intelligence of each child. Like building caves and forts with household items on rainy days. I am also a lover of arts and crafts as well as outdoor activities. I am fully capable of doing light housework and after school pickups. I am fun loving, easy going, and have been known to break the ice with even the most timid of children. I am extremely patient, understanding, and slow to anger. So please let me know if I can be of assistance.
