About Shakira

Hello, my name is Shakira! For the past three years, I have worked with multiple families, where my responsibilities and duties involved organizing activities for children, preparing meals throughout the day, assisting in additional household tasks, aiding parents during outings and trips, creating an age-appropriate learning environment, and providing a safe, enriched environment. Before working as a nanny, I volunteered at Covenant Love Church as an assistant teacher, where my responsibilities were ensuring the safety of multiple children under my supervision, following schedules timely, assisting with the lesson plans, and creating a caring, safe space. In addition to experience, I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, where my foci has been centered on child development and understanding the cognitive, physiological, and emotional growth throughout childhood and adolescence. I want to provide a fun and secure environment for children while being a good role model for them.
