About Shannon

I'm a teacher and high school soccer coach, and I also love to stay busy and active. My teaching and coaching experience is generally with high school kids. However, in my youth I was always babysitting, working with children from 2-12. I am very active and enjoy any and all sports, games, and just being outdoors in general. I also appreciate a good book and spend a lot of time being creative and crafting. In my spare time, I also do a lot of kayaking, biking, running, reading, writing, gardening, and, most importantly, enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love pets. Growing up, I was the child who wrote Santa every year asking for a puppy until my parents finally caved. Prior to being the proud mom of a puppy, I also had two cats, a fish tank, and even pet-sat my friend's chinchilla. I have pet-sat and house-sat for a number of friends and acquaintances. I am always eager and willing to give of my time.
