About Shannon

I'm a stay at home mom of a 2-year-old. I worked at a Daycare in Newtown for 7 years. My first two years there were in the 2-year-old classroom, then two years with 3-year-olds and my last 3 years as the 4-year-old pre school teacher. Then I nannied for a little one at 8 months old and stayed with them until I left to have my baby two years later! They also had a second baby while I was with them. So I frequently watched both girls and we remained good friends. I went to school for elementary education and have been CPR/First aid trained. I am a nature lover and get outside everyday to explore. I am all about hands on activities, art and crafts. Sensory play is one of my favorite things to do. Being a preschool teacher I also try to incorporate educational activities into the day. I would like to watch one child in my home. I have tons of art supplies and learning activities. I'd be willing to travel but would have to bring my 2-year-old daughter with me.
