About Shannon

Hi, I have 33 years of childcare experience. I come from a very large family, so I have been around a number of ages since I was young. I am one of six and 9th in the line of 64 first cousins. This has brought me to my immense love for children. I have been babysitting since I was 14. I have experience in a daycare, as a nanny and as a foster parent of a newborn for 5 months. I have worked with 4 families with twins and my nephews are twins. I want to be there for the mom and the family as a supportive, loving, caring, and responsible person. I want to meet the children and parents needs, be a companion, offer helpful advice, be a good listener, be a role model, and a teacher. This is my career and what I enjoy doing the most. I am reliable and come to work on time and never cancel. I will be sitting on the floor and engaging in activities with them.
