About Shannon

Hello! I feel that being a caregiver is the most fulfilling thing a person could possibly do in life. I started as a caregiver for my own mother who was diagnosed metastatic cancer at age 45. Although it was heartbreaking, I am so happy that I was able to care for her in the way she deserved. When she passed, I took on caring for my grandfather, for whom she had been providing care. I have have provided care for a disabled veteran which entailed medication reminders, ambulatory care, memory care, light housekeeping, cooking/meal prep, errands and transporting to Dr appointments. I currently help with memory care and meal prep for a family friend who has dementia. I believe that every person deserves to live out life with dignity, respect and as much independence as possible. I would like to be of assistance in keeping people out of LTC facilities and safely in their homes.
