About Shannon

I love working with children of all ages. I have an 18-year-old son who is my world. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's of Education in School Counseling. I have been an elementary school counselor for 9 years and have spent my whole life in Maryland. I have provided young children with academic tutoring and have provided individual counseling/therapy services to children and adults. In addition to toddlers and adolescents, I am extremely comfortable working with infants, and have a strong passion in working with this population in the future. I am a single mother and am used to multitasking and was the only support I had throughout the raising of my son. In addition, I love doing crafts with kids and would be more than willing to engage your child(ren) in activities that help to promote creativity and boost cognition. I am very responsible, organized, and love to explore. Strong passion for animals!! Very passionate about helping children and families.
