About Shayla

Hello! I'm hoping I can be supportive to a specific family needing care but doesn't mind their child coming alongside my own children (ranging from 10-2). I am a stay at home, homeschooling mom of 5 kids. They are the joy and privilege of my life. I know there is a need for pick up and drop off and those who would mesh well with this set up for part time care as well. Before starting a family, I was a preschool teacher and while I was in college I nannied for three wonderful families. The children ranged from 2 months to 6 years and I had the joy of taking care of a little girl with Down syndrome. I know I'm not your typical nanny/babysitter because I have my own children but I am passionate about teaching my kiddos and others to be kind and to love all people. My hope is that I can be of help to another family who needs someone they can trust to care for their kids since I know that is hard to find. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
