About Shaylin

Growing up with 2 younger siblings and 12 younger cousins, I quickly learned the ins and outs of childcare. From infants to teenagers, I have worked with kids of all ages! Beginning with babysitting family & friends during middle school, to long-term commitments with various families during high school. I have been provided with the opportunity to foster strong bonds with children of various ages. Equipped with a BLS first aid CPR/AED certification and experience working in elementary education, I have expanded my childcare expertise by serving as a substitute teacher in elementary schools as well as coaching a youth cheerleading team. These roles have not only deepened my understanding of children's behavior and development but have allowed me to form meaningful connections with children of diverse backgrounds and needs! Currently pursuing a nursing degree, I remain committed to the well-being of others, blending my passion for childcare with healthcare.
