I am a compassionate care provider who has experience as a skilled senior caregiver working at Meadowbrook and Essex Village in Essex, CT. Under the direction of nursing supervisors, my duties included administering medications, personal hygiene, and I arranged for transport, transfer, and escorted residents to various appointments. I helped maintain the residents environment in a clean, orderly condition and reported any needed repair or cleaning. I reported all assessments or observations of changes in resident condition in an accurate, timely manner and documented appropriately. I maintained residents safety and residents rights and performs duties in accordance with the policies of the facility, state and federal regulations, and as instructed by supervisors and the Director of Nursing Services. Through my experience as a senior care provider, I understand the show of respect and proper care can make all the difference for an older person.
